Shattered Dreams is an educational experience that demonstrate to students the dangers associated with drinking/distraction and driving.
The program involves the dramatization of an alcohol-related crash, complete with Fire, Police, and EMS response, as well as emergency room treatments and family notifications concluding in the arrest and booking of the driver. The crash scene drama is played out for the Junior and Senior class student bodies right on the GHS campus. Drama continues throughout the school day to give the entire student body a better understanding of the number of DWI-related deaths. This program was first initiated by PTSA in 2016 and organized by one of our own members, who coordinated with Police, Fire and Rescue along with many volunteers and GHS staff. 2016 Sponsors
